Meet Jens Baake, our President of Acme Hospitality! Get to know Jens with our #ama 'AcMe Anything' series!

Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in a small medieval town in Germany called Luneburg and I spent most of my childhood growing up in that area. When I was 23 years old, I immigrated to the United States.

Q: How long have you worked for Acme hospitality?
A: I started to work for Acme in October of 2022

Q: Favorite dish to eat in all of Acme?
A: Smoked Lamb Ribs from @thelarksb

Q: Favorite dish to make at home?
A: Slowly simmered roasts

Q: What does a perfect day look like in SB?
A: Walking on the beach or in the hills, sipping wine, being mesmerized by the unique plants & wildlife, and eating out with my wife at one of our restaurants

Q: One thing you always have in your fridge?
A: Sourdough starter, cheeses and cold cuts

Q: What’s your superpower?
A: My deep desire to understand how things work and how that gained knowledge can enhance the quality of life for myself and the people around me.
